How classes change as kids grow
Our youngest gymnasts train in the Adventure Gym, a space just for little kids with equipment sized for small bodies, so they never share a floor with the big kids. Every class is grouped by age, and coaches move children up when they are ready, not just when they have a birthday.
Under 3: parent-assisted
My Buddy and Me is for ages 14 to 35 months. A parent or caregiver joins in, helping your toddler climb, roll, balance and bounce through stations, obstacle courses and imaginative play.
Ages 3 to 5: their first classes on their own
At 3, Jumpstarters is the first independent class, and parents are welcome to watch. Firecrackers adds more challenge at age 4. Ready 4- and 5-year-olds move into Fun Flippers Jr. and Gym Studs Jr. with a coach’s approval, which prepares them for school-age classes.
Ages 6 and up: the main gym
School-age kids join recreational gymnastics (girls 6–14, boys 6–12), Trampoline & Tumbling, or Teen Gymnastics for ages 13 to 18. Gymnasts who want to compete can be invited onto our Xcel and Perfector teams. See gymnastics levels explained for how that path works.
