Teen Gymnastics
Gymnastics, tumbling, and open gym for teens ages 13–18, every level.

Teen Gymnastics at Go For It USA gives teenagers ages 13 to 18 in Las Vegas a place to train, whether they are competitive athletes, cheerleaders building tumbling, or teens who simply want to get strong and learn to flip. Through trampoline and tumbling, Friday-night open gym, and our competitive teams, teens build strength, skill, and confidence in a positive, no-judgment environment.
Gymnastics is not just for little kids. The teenage years are a fantastic time to train: teens learn fast, build strength quickly, and get real satisfaction from mastering skills that looked impossible a month earlier.
For the teen who loves to tumble, our Trampoline & Tumbling program is a perfect fit. Open to athletes ages six and up and structured across three instructional levels, it lets teenagers train exactly where their skills are, from refining round-offs and back handsprings to mastering tucks and twisting techniques on our rod floor, spring floor, tumble trak, trampoline, and foam pit. For cheerleaders in particular, this is some of the most valuable training available: the tumbling translates directly to the mat and the sideline, and our coaches teach it with the technique and safety that keep athletes healthy through a competitive season.
For teens who want a relaxed, social way to stay active, Open & Fun Gym is a Friday-night favorite. Running from 8 to 10 pm for ages 6 to 18, it gives teenagers two hours to work on skills, practice tumbling, or just enjoy the trampolines and foam pit with friends, all supervised by our staff, with a warm-up and safety briefing to start. It is a great low-commitment way for a teen to stay involved in the sport, or to try the gym for the first time. (Admission is $15 for members and $18 for non-members; please call ahead to reserve a spot.)
For the dedicated competitive teen, Go For It USA offers a full path. Our Perfector Girls Team competes in the Junior Olympic program through the optional levels and Elite, and our Perfector Women’s Xcel Team offers competition on a more flexible schedule across the Bronze-through-Sapphire divisions, ideal for a busy teen balancing gymnastics with school and other commitments. On the boys’ side, the Perfector Boys Team, the largest men’s gymnastics team in Nevada, competes through Level 10 and Elite, and has sent alumni on to NCAA programs and professional performing-arts careers, including Cirque du Soleil.
There is a particular kind of confidence that comes from doing gymnastics as a teenager. Teens are strong enough to learn impressive skills and self-aware enough to take real pride in the work it takes to earn them. Whether the goal is a competitive routine, a clean standing back handspring for cheer, or simply the strength and capability that gymnastics builds, our coaches meet teen athletes with high standards and genuine encouragement, and a gym culture where trying hard and supporting your teammates is exactly what is cool.
We also know that for some teens, walking into a gym for the first time can feel intimidating. Go For It USA works hard to keep the environment positive and free of judgment, so a teenager who is just discovering the sport feels as welcome as one who has been competing for years. Everyone trains at their own level, everyone is encouraged, and everyone belongs.
It is also worth knowing how well gymnastics fits a teenager’s wider life. The strength, flexibility, and body awareness it builds make teens better at whatever else they do, track, diving, dance, martial arts, cheer, and more, and the discipline of training transfers directly to the classroom. For a teen athlete in another sport, our Trampoline & Tumbling and open-gym options offer powerful cross-training; for a teen who wants gymnastics to be their main sport, our Xcel and Perfector teams offer a real competitive home, including the flexible Xcel schedule built for busy high-school students. Whatever balance a teen is trying to strike, there is a way to make gymnastics part of it here.
At Go For It USA, teens ages 13 to 18 can train through our Trampoline & Tumbling program, drop in for Open & Fun Gym, or pursue competition on our Xcel and Perfector teams. Whatever your teen is looking for, competition, cheer tumbling, fitness, or fun, we have a place for them. Reach out and we will help you find the right fit.
