Twisters is for girls who would like to continue to progress in their gymnastics, and have the opportunity to compete, but aren't able to make the commitment required for team. This is a fun-filled program with lots of hard work and opportunity for achievement. Twisters begin at level 2, where they will begin to learn the skills and routines required for competition. When they are ready to compete, they move to level 3, where they are able to enter competitions locally, competing with other level 3 gymnasts in floor, vault, bars, and beam. Once they have successfully competed a season at level 3, they will be invited to continue on to Xcel, where they can continue to progress in their skills, competing in Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels. Teamwork, confidence, strength, flexibility, and competitive values are all encouraged at this level.
