Odyssey Elite at Go For It USA truly offers something for everyone! Beginners through advanced, ages 3 and up, recreational to competitive, and even special needs, we truly have it all! Cheer students will learn foundational level 1 and 2 skills during classes, also learning basic tumbling, positions, chants, jumps, dance, and stunts. From there, we offer multiple levels for cheer students wanting to compete. Each competitive team will put together a 2 minute, 30 second routine filled with tumbling, dance, chanting, stunts, and fun! Minis (age 3-8) and Juniors (ages 8-14) will compete at between 4 and 5 competitions at the regional and national levels, with Minis practicing 2 hours each week, and Juniors 4 hours each week. Cartwheels, round-offs, walkovers, stunting, chants, jumps and dance will be taught as well as strength and flexibility.
For those wanting to take their cheer to the next level, we offer our Youth (ages 8-11) and Senior (ages 12-18) teams. These athletes will practice 6 hours each week, and compete 7-9 times each season. Tumbling, including round-offs, back handsprings, tucks, and twisting will be taught, as well as stunting, from foundational to more advanced skills, partner skills, dance, jumps, turns, chants, and more. Strength and flexibility will also be emphasized.
Our Special Needs team will learn socialization skills along with cheer skills. The Special Needs Team will learn a 2 min. 30 second routine full of dance, cheer motions, jumps, stunts, and tumbling. They will perform their routine at competitions and other community events.
